Setup and ran a new organisation for the Central Bank for 1.5 years; representing a collaboration of 107 largest Financial Institutions in Malaysia (FINCO), the largest collective impact in South East Asia - in achieving systemic progress in Education for the children of Malaysia.

Conducted Bursa Malaysia’s FTSE4GOOD ESG Index and Sustainability Reporting workshops for public listed companies. Provided exclusive content for the Corporate Responsibility section of Bursa Marketplace, a retail investor portal for Bursa Malaysia for three years.

Designed and established a partnership for Maybank Kim Eng with Kiva in San Francisco to provide microfinancing across 5 ASEAN countries. This was US-based Kiva’s first corporate partnership in Asia and provides microloans to up to 10,000 beneficiaries.

Designed and established a microfinancing programme in collaboration with AIM (Malaysia largest MFI). This programme provides micro-entrepreneurs with access to funds, knowledge, markets and technology. After a successful pilot, this was expanded nationwide.

Provided Sustainability knowledge and understanding for Hong Leong Group and its subsidiaries in preparation for Bursa Malaysia’s ESG index rating and sustainability listing requirements. Workshops encompassed global trends, local regulations and actionable recommendations.

Produced a Harvard-commended SROI report for a leading European medical cold chain manufacturer, justifying government purchases through social returns quantified in a research published on the impact of vaccinations. Projects have spanned Nigeria, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia and India. Publication currently on AIDF’s global website.
